1. Quotes & Estimates
-
All quotes are based on the information and visual inspection provided.
-
Quotes are estimates only; unforeseen work discovered during disassembly or inspection may incur additional costs.
-
Significant additional work or costs will always be communicated and require your written approval before proceeding.
-
Any verbal quotes should be confirmed in writing to be valid.
2. Deposits & Payments
-
Deposits are required to secure bookings or to order parts and materials.
-
Deposits are non-refundable except where work is cancelled by us.
-
All parts must be paid for in advance if ordered on your behalf.
-
Final balance is due upon completion, collection, or delivery of the motorcycle or components.
-
Bikes or components will not be released until full payment has been received.
3. Work Scope & Variations
-
The agreed scope of work is outlined in the initial quote or project agreement.
-
Any changes requested by the customer after the work has commenced may incur additional charges.
-
Hidden issues, especially on older or classic bikes, may require extra work; we will consult you before proceeding.
-
We reserve the right to refuse work outside our expertise or that poses undue safety risk.
4. Parts & Materials
-
We can supply new, refurbished, or customer-supplied parts.
-
Customer-supplied parts are accepted at your risk; we are not responsible for defects, compatibility, or suitability.
-
Special-order parts or bespoke components may be non-refundable.
-
Any intellectual property associated with bespoke parts (designs, CNC files, sketches) remains the property of Ride & Restore unless otherwise agreed.

Damage or issues resulting from customer-specified modifications
-
Loss of use, inconvenience, or incidental costs
-
-
All work is performed under standard workshop safety and care practices.

Classic or heavily modified bikes may not meet modern performance or safety standards; you accept this risk when commissioning work.
7. Insurance & Road Testing
-
Road testing may be required for tuning, safety checks, or shakedown purposes.
-
By commissioning work, you consent to your bike being test-ridden by a qualified, insured member of our team.
-
Customers must maintain their own insurance if they collect and ride the bike.
8. Completion Times & Delays
-
Completion dates are estimates. Classic and custom projects are inherently unpredictable.
-
Delays may occur due to parts availability, unforeseen issues, or workload.

We will communicate progress updates throughout the project.
-
We are not liable for any losses or inconvenience caused by project delays.
9. Collection, Delivery & Storage
-
Customers are responsible for arranging collection or transport of their bike unless we agree to deliver.

Bikes left beyond 14 days after completion may incur storage fees.
-
Bikes abandoned for an extended period (after written notice) may be treated as abandoned and subject to disposal under UK law.
10. Customer Obligations
-
Provide accurate information regarding the bike, its history, and condition.
-
Ensure all personal items and valuables are removed before leaving the bike with us.
-
Respond promptly to communications about approvals, payments, or project decisions.
11. Cancellation Policy
-
Customers may cancel projects prior to commencement, but deposits may be retained to cover any work already incurred or parts ordered.
-
Once work has started, cancellations are subject to charges for labour, parts, and any bespoke components manufactured.
12. Intellectual Property & Media
-
All designs, drawings, CAD files, and images produced by Ride & Restore remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.
-
We may use photographs of your bike for promotional purposes unless you explicitly request otherwise in writing

If unresolved, disputes are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
-
Any legal action must be brought within the jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
